Determining time spent in different phases of the cell cycle

In interphase, the chromosomes are not condensed yet, and individual chromosomes cannot be distinguished. In this cell, however, the chromosomes are visible. Also, the chromosomes in this cell do not appear to be held within a nuclear membrane, as you would expect from a cell in interphase.
