Style Manual

Buttons for Biochemistry Web pages

At the bottom of each page, above the Horizontal Rule for the footer, should be a 'button bar'. These links aren't actually buttons--they're just text links in a special format. The first link should bring you one level up. For example, on this page, the first link is to the main page of this Style Manual. The second link should bring you to the Biochemistry home page. (In some cases, one level up is the Biochemistry home page, so you would only have one button.)

Buttons are ALL CAPS. The button bar is defined on the outside by [brackets] and the buttons are separated by two "pipes" || . The brackets and pipes are not included in the A tags, so they should not be colored and underlined like a link. The whole thing is centered with a P tag to give space above and below it.
