GASTROINTESTINAL SYSTEM
- The mouth and tongue were normal.
- The oesophagus was normal and no varices were identified.
- Approximately 6 litres of fluid was present within the peritoneal cavity.
- the stomach and small intestine contained a small amount of altered blood and there were multiple small superficial ulcers in the antrum.
- Several loops of terminal ileum were adherent to each other and to the anterior abdominal wall.
