Tour 2: Next/Previous/Start: On this slice a common normal variant is seen which may be mis-identified as lacunar infarction or other abnormality: the widened lenticulostriate perivascular space. Note the small round high signal spots in the mid-portion of the internal capsule, 2 on the left and 4 on the right. These are normal.
