• The heart weighs 380g; pericardium is normal.
• The right coronary artery shows minimal atheroma. You take a section of the left anterior descending coronary artery, and it shows severe atheroma with 75% stenosis of the vessel lumen -see image left. The circumflex coronary artery also shows 30% narrowing by atheroma.
• The cardiac valves are all normal.
