Description
Low-power view of the peripheral blood in a
patient with severe iron deficiency anemia. A
normal lymphocyte is present (for comparison
purposes) to the right of center. Marked
anisocytosis and poikilocytosis can be
appreciated as can microcytosis and hypochromia.
