This term is immediately associated with illegal chemicals such as marijuana and cocaine. But if you call it "medicine", people think of it as a treatment for diseases using antibiotics, analgesics and topical ointments. We refer to the term "drug" as being bad and the term "medication" to be good. These are all chemicals which are ingested, injected or applied to the body.

Chemotherapy is a chemical substance that is used to kill cancer cells, most chemotherapeutic agents kill neoplastic cells by affecting DNA synthesis or funciton, though the drugs vary in their mechanism of activity within the cell cycle.Click here
Chemotherapy helps cancer patients but with many side effects from the chemicals such as nausea, vomiting, and hair loss.
