Virtual Courseware

Virtual courseware applications are computer programs that have been designed to be run over the World-Wide Web. Virtual courseware is platform independent--it doesn't matter if your using Windows, a Macintosh, or a Unix machine. All you need is a web browser and a connection to the Internet.

There are several virtual applications under development as part of the Electronic Desktop Project. Our virtual applications are educational software for teaching and learning in the natural sciences. They are outgrowths of our development efforts using the NEXTSTEP programming environment. Check out our online NEXTSTEP courseware catalog for more information.

Listed below are the virtual applications that are currently available or coming soon.
