Description
Bone marrow smear from a case of acute
monoblastic leukemia, M5A. The cells are
relatively uniform in appearence. The monoblast
is a large cell with abundant cytoplasm frequently
with pseudopod formation. The cytoplasm may
contain numerous azurophilic granules. Some of
the blasts in this field have prominent nucleoli.
