Description
This low oil view of a Wright's stained bone
marrow aspirate is from a patient with multiple
myeloma. A large binucleate cell is seen, as are
several other mononuclear cells. The nuclei are
eccentric, the nuclear chromatin is coarse and
there is a perinuclear clear zone and the
cytoplasm is a grayish-blue, all feature
considered to be characteristic.
