Blood smear from a seven year old male who
presented with markedly elevated white count with
approximately 60% lymphoblasts. Karyotypic
analysis showed the presence of a Philadelphia
chromosome. This case was classified as
Philadelphia chromosome positive acute
lymphoblastic leukemia.
